The group which campaigns for access to justice today called for the means-test for legal aid to be re-examined.

FLAC has claimed current test is outdated and unrealistic. Their comments came after the launch of the legal aid board's annual report today.

“The principal is that nobody should be denied access to justice for simple financial reasons, simply because they can’t afford it.” FLAC Director General Noeline Blackwell said.
