Fingal County Council has granted planning permission for the development of 40 houses, a hotel and a golf course on a former residence of Charles Haughey.

Fingal County Council has granted planning permission for the development of 40 houses, a hotel and a golf course on a former residence of Charles Haughey.

The land is to be developed into a state-of-the-art tourism and leisure facility at Abbeville.

The 250-acre estate was sold to Manor Park Homes in August 2003 for a reported €45m.
