The case of a 17-year-old boy charged with the killing of an English man whose body was found in the west of Dublin last month, has been adjourned for a week.

The Tallaght teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is charged with the unlawful killing of Mr James Burke, a 21-year-old Londoner, on September 23 last, at Quarryville, in west Dublin.

The Dublin Children’s Court heard today that more time would be needed to prepare the book of evidence.

The teenager was remanded in custody to St Patrick’s Institution, with consent to High Court bail, until next Tuesday.
