First ever murder trial begins today in Cork

The first murder trial to be heard in Co Cork since the foundation of the State is to get underway at the Central Criminal Court today.

Frank Cunningham (aged 19) from Bride Valley View, Fairhill, Cork, is charged with the murder of father of one, Patrick Walsh (aged 27).
