Woman charged in canal murder case

A woman has been charged with the murder of a man whose dismembered body was found in the Royal Canal last March.

The 22-year-old woman, who is the second person to be charged in connection with the death of 39-year-old Somalian man Farah Swaleh Noor, was arrested at her home in Tallaght yesterday.

She was taken to Mountjoy Garda Station, where she remains before her District Court hearing later today.
