Searches underway in organised crime probe

Police in Derry were today carrying out a number of searches of property in the city.

It is understood the searches are linked to an investigation into organised crime and counterfeiting in the north west of Northern Ireland.

Premises and houses in the Gobnascale area of the city were being searched.
