Labour seeks ‘bio-security unit’ after bird flu outbreak

The Labour Party has called on the Government to set up a "bio-security unit" to deal with issues like the bird flu outbreak.

The call follows confirmation that the strain of the illness which has devastated poultry stocks in Asia over the past two years has now arrived in Europe.
