Up to 500 students receiving new college offers today

Up to 500 students who successfully appealed their Leaving Cert results are reportedly receiving new college offers in the post this morning.

Yesterday, the State Examinations Commission announced that more than 2,600 of the almost 12,000 appeals lodged had resulted in marks being upgraded.
