Tralee woman seeking damages over dead son’s body parts

A Co. Kerry woman is seeking damages after she discovered body parts of her dead son in a laboratory at Tralee General Hospital where she worked as a cleaner.

Anne Tierney-Quirke of Oak Park, Tralee has launched proceedings against a hospital consultant, a coronor, the old Southern Health Board and the Health Minister, claiming negligence and breach of duty on their part.
