Harney attacks Labour TD over medical cards claim

Tánaiste Mary Harney has launched a scathing attack on Labour Party TD Liz McManus, accusing her of using the terminally-ill as a political football.

Ms McManus has claimed that, under new guidelines, terminally-ill patients are being means-tested before being given a medical card.
