Ireland's disabilty support services criticised
The newly-elected President of the International Federation of Persons with Physical Disability has hit out at Ireland's standards in the provision of disability support services.
Nigel Brander, who's also the Chairman of the People with Disabilities in Ireland group, called for a single authority to be established to co-ordinate the national efforts in this area.
He said there is a need to look abroad for best practice arrangements, as well as more cross-departmental co-operation in this country.
