Live Register figures ‘show govt policies are working’

The Government has claimed that the latest drop in the number of people claiming unemployment benefits shows its economic policies are working.

Figures released by the Central Statistics Office today show the number of people on the Live Register has fallen by just over 7,000 in the past year.
