Rehab: ‘Glass recycling rates up 20% over past year’

Glass recycling rates in Ireland had increased significantly over the past year, according to figures published today by the recycling firm Rehab.

The company said a record 50,000 tonnes of glass had been deposited at Rehab bottle banks throughout the country over the past year, a 20% increase on the previous 12-month period.
