Six still in custody in relation to murder of former UDA man
Police in the North are continuing to question six people this morning in connection with the murder of the notorious loyalist paramilitary Jim Gray.
The four men and two women were arrested yesterday by detectives investigating the fatal shooting of the 47-year-old former UDA ‘brigadier’ on Tuesday night.
Gray, who had been expelled from the UDA in March, was shot dead at point-blank range by two gunmen who called to his house in east Belfast.
He had been deeply involved in drug-dealing and extortion and the PSNI believes his murder was carried out by his former associates in the loyalist paramilitary outfit.
