Manslaughter: Teen charged over killing held for further two weeks
A 16-year-old boy charged with the killing of an Englishman, whose body was found in the west of Dublin last month, has been remanded in custody for a further two weeks, by the Children’s Court.
The Tallaght teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is charged with the unlawful killing of Mr James Burke, a 21-year-old Londoner, on September 23 last, at Quarryville, in west Dublin.
He had been remanded in custody last week last week following a Garda objection to bail.
Yesterday Judge Catherine Murphy further remanded him in custody to St Patrick’s Institution to appear again in two weeks.
