A 27-year-old man is recovering this morning after being injured in a gangland-style shooting in Co Dublin last night.

A 27-year-old man is recovering this morning after being injured in a gangland-style shooting in Co Dublin last night.

The man was shot in the leg and back at a pub on the Lucan Road in Newcastle at around 9.30pm by a masked gunman armed with a handgun.

Gardaí are questioning a man in his late 20s in connection with the shooting.
