Woman charged with arson attack on house in Shannon

A 26-year-old woman has reportedly been charged with carrying out an arson attack on a house in Shannon, Co Clare, over the weekend.

Reports this morning said the woman was due to appear in court in Kilrush today charged with arson and reckless endangerment in connection with the incident in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A man and three young children were treated for smoke inhalation after being rescued from the burning house in Purcell Park by two local gardaí.
