Man arrested following Monaghan stabbing

A man has been arrested following a stabbing incident in Monaghan Town.

Gardaí say the victim - who's being treated in hospital in Cavan and is believed to be Eastern European - was attacked at a party last night.

He was found just after midnight outside a house in Woodview in Killygowan.
