House damaged in petrol bomb attack
A house in Portadown was damaged in a petrol bomb attack today.
The device was thrown at at the house on the Armagh Road at about 6am, causing scorch damage to the porch.
Three men sleeping in the property escaped injury, said police.
Meanwhile police were continuing to investigate a blast bomb attack on a bar in the centre of Londonderry .
The area was sealed off and a number of houses in the area evacuated while a second device – which later proved to be a hoax – was examined.
At least one house near the pub suffered damage to a window and door. Police appealed to anyone in the area of the Fountain Estate at the time of the blast to contact them.
