Empey welcomes declassification of UVF ceasefire

The leader of the Ulster Unionist Party today welcomed the decision by the Northern Secretary Peter Hain to declare the UVF ceasefire over.

Reg Empey’s statement came after four murders and four days of intense loyalist violence in the north following the re-routing of an Orange Order Parade at the weekend.
