‘Ireland’s competitiveness lagging behind other countries’

‘The Government's National Competitiveness Council has warned that Ireland's ability to compete internationally is lagging behind that of other Western countries.

In its annual competitiveness report, the council says prices and business costs in Ireland have stabilised at a level much higher than in continental Europe and North America.
