Teenager dies in Tyrone crash
A 15-year-old boy has died while driving a car which was in collision with a van, it was revealed today.
He was behind the wheel of a white Peugeot 309 which collided with a Transit van on the main Ballygawley to Dungannon Road in Co Tyrone on Saturday night.
The crash happened at the junction of the A4 and the Killymoyle Road.
It is understood the car had not been stolen.
A police spokesman said a passenger in the car and the two occupants of the van suffered minor injuries.
Police appealed for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them in Dungannon.
They also want to speak to anyone who saw the van travelling on the A4 towards Ballygawley or the car travelling from the Aughnacloy direction on the Killymoyle Road prior to the accident.
