Second-level pupils have 'more income than ever'

Bank of Ireland has claimed that secondary school pupils in Ireland have more disposable income than ever before.

The bank said research it commissioned found that 12- to 14-year-olds had an average weekly income of just under €20, while those aged 15 or over had an average income of just over €40.
