IBEC wants laptops provided to all secondary school pupils

The employers' body IBEC has called for the State to make laptop computers available to every secondary school pupil in Ireland within the next five years.

The organisation has claimed Ireland is lagging behind most other countries when it comes to IT facilities in schools and the gap is actually widening.
