Co Donegal textile manufacturer to lay off 67 workers

Sixty-seven workers are to lose their jobs in Co Donegal following a decision by a textile manufacturer to close its factory in Buncrana.

Clubman Omega said today that it was transferring production from the plant to Lithuania to avail of lower costs in the eastern European country.
