Vandals leave trail of destruction in Ballymena

A gang of around 100 youths smashed windows and damaged cars at a disturbance in Co Antrim today.

The gang gathered in the Warden Street area of Ballymena in the early hours after leaving a social club.

A Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) spokeswoman said a number of houses had their windows smashed and some cars were also damaged.

Detectives have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
