Stranded fishermen saved off northwest coast

A fishing boat was rescued off the northwest coast after it lost engine power, it emerged today.

The Sligo-based Coastguard helicopter and two lifeboats were involved in operation, after the boat got into difficulty 18 miles north of Malin Head.
