Teenager critical after Dublin stabbing
A 19-year-old man was in a critical condition in hospital today following a stabbing at a train station.
The man was stabbed at a works ground at Shankill DART station shortly after 4am.
He was taken to St Columcilles Hospital in Loughlinstown and then subsequently transferred to St Vincent’s Hospital.
A Garda spokesman said his condition was described as critical.
Two men, aged 22 and 23, have been arrested in connection with the incident and were detained at Shankhill Garda station. They can be held for up to 12 hours under section four of the Criminal Justice Act.
