Man in critical condition after Tallaght stabbing

A man in his early 30s is fighting for his life this morning after he was stabbed at a house in the Tallaght area of Dublin.

The incident happened in the Whitebrook Park area just before 2.30am following a dispute among a group of people.

The victim, who is from Crumlin and known to the gardaí, was stabbed twice in the back and once in the shoulder.

He is being treated at Tallaght Hospital, where his condition has been described as critical.
