Govt announces €200,000 funding to promote EU debate

The Government has announced €200,000 in funding aimed at improving Irish people's knowledge of the European Union.

The money, targeted mainly at young people, will be spent on projects around the country that encourage debate about the EU and its workings and is targeted mainly at young people.
