Poles escape racist bomb attack in Derry
Five Polish people escaped injury after racists petrol-bombed their home in Co Derry, police said today.
One man has been arrested over the attack in Kilrea.
The device was thrown at the rear of the house in Clara Hill from nearby playing fields just after midnight.
It caused scorch damage to the outside of the property, but the occupants managed to get out unhurt.
A Police Service of Northern Ireland spokesman confirmed detectives were treating the incident as a racial attack.
Investigating officers urged any witnesses to contact police.
