The Government is withholding funding needed for new vehicles in the Dublin Bus fleet, reports claimed today.

Earlier this year Dublin Bus said a lack of Government funding meant it had not been able to increase its fleet since 2001, a claim which Taoiseach Bertie Ahern later dismissed as "gobbledegook".
