Motorcyclist dies after collision with van

A 37-year-old motorcyclist has died in hospital from injuries he sustained in a collision with a van in the Rathfarnam area of Dublin yesterday evening.

The accident happened on Nutgrove Avenue at around 5pm.

The motorcyclist was taken to St James's Hospital, where he died from his injuries last night.

Gardaí are withholding his name until all next of kin have been informed.
