Householders hope to return home after fire

More than 100 homeowners forced to flee after a major fire broke out at a derelict garage in East Belfast should be allowed to return to their properties later today.

Residents on Avoniel Road were evacuated and roads closed off last night after gas cylinders exploded, threatening surrounding properties.
