Adams and Ahern meet to discuss imminent IRA statement

Sinn Féin president Gerry Adams is meeting the Taoiseach in Dublin today for talks that are expected to focus on an imminent statement from the IRA about its future intentions.

Mr Adams has called on the movement to declare an end to its armed struggle and commit to pursuing a united Ireland through peaceful means.
