Ahern favours continuation of social partnership process

The Taoiseach Bertie Ahern has said he favours a continuation of the social partnership process involving the Government, employers, trade unions and community groups.

Speaking at a meeting of the social partners in Dublin today, Mr Ahern said the process had a good record of success in underpinning Ireland's economic and social transformation in recent years.
