A garda is fighting for his life this morning after being stabbed in the Raheny area of north Dublin last night.

A garda is fighting for his life this morning after being stabbed in the Raheny area of north Dublin last night.

The attacked happened after two gardaí responded to a call from a member of the public about an incident on Main Street at around 11.30pm.
