FG and Labour leaders meet to discuss election strategy

The leaders of Fine Gael and the Labour Party are meeting today for preliminary talks on a joint strategy for the next General Election.

The meeting is expected to be the first in a series as the two parties hope to pool their expertise to get Fianna Fáil and the Progressive Democrats out of office.
