Mayo: Gas line demo goes ahead

A demonstration is underway in Co Mayo over the jailing of five men for preventing the building of a gas pipeline on their land.

Today’s rally is the latest in a series of protests following the men’s imprisonment for refusing to obey a High Court injunction taken out by pipeline developers, Shell.
