Fears are growing of renewed warfare between rival loyalist gangs in Belfast, after yesterday's murder of 25-year-old Jameson Lockhart during the height of the marching season.

A gunman opened fire on Mr Lockhart as he sat in a lorry on Newtonards Road in the east of the city yesterday.
