M50 key to economic success, says Minister

The M50 motorway around Dublin is central to the economic success of the Irish economy, a Government minister claimed today.

As Transport chief Martin Cullen opened the final section of the road, he said commuters now had a high quality, high spec connection along much of the east coast from the M1 at Dundalk, Co Louth, to Rathnew, Co Wicklow.
