IFA accuses Blair of CAP misinformation

The Irish Farmers Association has accused British Prime Minister Tony Blair of misleading European voters in connection with the Common Agricultural Policy.

Mr Blair has been sharply critical of the CAP in recent weeks, saying it takes up 40% of the EU budget at a time when resources are needed to boost research and development and create jobs.
