HSE moves public patients from nursing home
The Health Service Executive is making alternative arrangements to move some of its public patients placed in the Leas Cross Nursing home in north county Dublin.
An investigation by the HSE into Leas Cross began earlier this month following a television programme which exposed sub-standard care at the home.
The Executive now intends moving over 20 of its public patients and will advice private patients on doing the same.
In a statement released by the HSE it said it would be consulting with the families of those currently residing in Leas Cross.
