€1.5bn is owed in refunds to taxpayers - FG

Up to €1.5bn is owed to Irish taxpayers who have failed to claim their entitlements in a range of areas in recent years, according to Fine Gael.

The party said figures it obtained from the Revenue Commissioners showed that €145m in refunds had been paid out to around 200,000 PAYE workers in the first four months of this year.
