Dáil to discuss controversial garda reform plans

The Dáil is due to hold a discussion today about the Government's plans for garda reform in the wake of the second report from the Morris Tribunal.

The opposition has accused the Government of ignoring one of the report's main recommendations - that the proposed Garda Bill currently making its way through to the Oireachtas be reviewed in its entirety.
