Taoiseach hopes IRA statement will be soon

The Taoiseach has said he hopes it will not take too much longer for the IRA to complete its internal consultation after an appeal made by Sinn Féin leader Gerry Adams.

Bertie Ahern will travel to London tomorrow, where he will meet both Tony Blair and Ian Paisley for the first time since their successes in the British elections.
