Governments willing to wait for IRA statement

The July 10 deadline set by the British and Irish governments for the IRA to issue a statement on winding down its operations may be relaxed.

The news emerged following a meeting between Justice Minister Michael McDowell and Northern Ireland Secretary Peter Hain in Dublin today.
