The planned computerisation of the penalty points system has reportedly been delayed until the end of this year at the earliest.

The planned computerisation of the penalty points system has reportedly been delayed until the end of this year at the earliest.

Reports this morning said the delay was mainly due to the fact that a vital link between garda computer systems and the Courts Service's summons system would not be in place for at least another six months.
