Galway gardaí question over fatal hit-and-run

A man is being questioned in Galway in connection with a hit and run incident in which a man in his 60s was killed.

The man's body was found on the Athenry to Loughrea road, near Attymon More, in the early hours of this morning.

Gardaí are trying to establish the circumstances of the collision and are asking witnesses to contact them.
