Shotgun fired at house in Limerick city

Gardaí in Limerick are investigating a shooting which happened a house at Craeval Park, in Moyross in the city, this morning.

Two men wearing balaclavas approached the house at about 8am.

One was armed with a sawn-off shotgun and he fired a number of shots at the front door of the house but no injuries have been reported.

A technical examination of the scene is now being carried out.
